Your only requirement is to lie down.
Experience the Deep Rest Practice. A guided path to mind and body restoration through the inner stillness of Yoga Nidra.
FIND YOUR STILLNESS
Modern life is built on constant motion. The Deep Rest Practice is built on the belief that your most profound healing happens when you stop doing.
Unlike traditional yoga that requires physical exertion or flexibility, this practice is designed for the overextended, the sleep-deprived, and those simply looking for a clinically-proven mind body reset. There are no poses to master and no special clothing required. Your only requirement is to lie down and listen.
Through the eight stages of Yoga Nidra, Jackie leads you into a state of "wakeful sleep" where your nervous system can finally recover. Whether you are experiencing insomnia, anxiety or simply the challenges of everyday life, this is your sanctuary for true recovery.
Private 1:1 Sessions
A deeply personalized experience designed to address your specific recovery needs. In these sessions, Jackie tailors the guided imagery and pacing to help you navigate individual challenges such as chronic stress, insomnia, or a high-pressure lifestyle. You will have the space to settle into a private sanctuary where every element is focused on regulating your unique nervous system and facilitating a profound mental reset.
Small Group Practices
These sessions provide a collective environment for shared stillness and recovery. While practicing alongside others, your experience remains entirely internal as you are guided into the "wakeful sleep" state. It is an ideal entry point for those looking to build a consistent ritual of rest within a supportive community, allowing the group's quiet energy to deepen your own sense of calm and clarity
Meet your Guide
I spent years navigating the high-pressure world of constant motion before discovering that my most powerful tool for recovery wasn’t more action. It was complete stillness, in body and in mind.
As a certified Yoga Nidra instructor, I created The Deep Rest Practice to share the art of "non-doing" with those who feel the weight of a busy world. My goal is to provide a safe, zero-effort sanctuary where you can step out of the cycle of "doing" and into a state of profound being.
I don't ask for your flexibility or your athleticism. I only ask for your presence.
The Science of Stillness
The Brain
Research shows Yoga Nidra can decrease "Beta" brain waves (stress) and increase "Theta" and "Delta" waves, which are associated with deep healing and learning.
Neuroplasticity
The Heart
By stimulating the Parasympathetic Nervous System, consistent practice improves Heart Rate Variability (HRV), a key indicator of stress recovery.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
The Hormones
Regular practice is clinically shown to lower serum cortisol levels, the primary hormone responsible for the body's stress response. By signaling safety to the brain, Yoga Nidra allows your endocrine system to shift from chronic "fight or flight" to a better hormonal balance.
Cortisol Reduction
The Mind
Experience the profound restoration of the 'wakeful sleep' state. Research indicates that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can provide the body with the restorative equivalent of nearly three hours of traditional sleep.
The Sleep Bridge
A Sanctuary for the Mind and Body
Modern life asks us to be perpetually "on." Yoga Nidra is the practice of slowing down. It is a guided journey into the deepest levels of relaxation, where the body finds stillness and the mind finally quiets.
By intentionally creating a space for non-doing, you signal to your brain that it is safe to let go. This shift from constant alertness to profound rest is the foundation of the Deep Rest Practice, allowing you to experience a renewed sense of clarity and resilience.
